Social Media Sessions

Charlottetown business people anxious to learn about increasing business traffic through social media attended a Social Media Lunch and Learn on February 27. Led by Graphcom Group's Social Media Expert Ariana Salvo, the session was offered free of charge through The Greater Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce. Focusing on the use of Facebook and Twitter, Ariana illustrated venues businesses could take once their online presence was established, in effect answering the query: You've created an account; now what? Response from the full-to-capacity attendants has been extremely positive, with a waiting list for Ariana's next session already filling up. That next session takes place on Wednesday, March 27 from noon until 1 in the Atlantic Technology Centre boardroom, 4th floor. This time, Ariana focuses on the opportunities presented by Pininterest, currently social media's biggest traffic-driving platform. To register for this session, contact The Chamber at 902-628-2000 or lmerrill@charlottetownchamber.com.
